Starts at $100 for a private demo or $10 at a scheduled public events.

Are you buying a canoe or kayak off a showroom floor without having tried it? If you are new to watersports, we strongly advocate that you take the time to experience different kayak models and get a true understanding of the differences between each. Or if you're a seasoned kayaker and are looking to take your experience to the next level, boat demos are a great way to test them out before committing to the big purchase. That is why Roads Rivers and Trails has always offered kayak demos!

Public Boat Demos

Our monthly summer demo events require registration along with a $10 donation to a local not for profit. For 2024 we are excited to partner with Little Miami Conservancy for all registration proceeds! Check our event calendar for the next event dates. These are low pressure and high attention events where the RRT staff can both help in explaining the basics of kayaking and the features and uses of different models. Then it is your turn to get in the water and try them out!

Private Demos

Can't make a scheduled event? Schedule a private demo with us any day. A private demo is $100 and includes a one-on-one experience with any two boats that you'd like to try. We schedule a time that works best for you and head to a local lake or river for up to an hour. If you choose to buy a kayak that day, we will apply your $100 service fee to the price of your new boat!
